ABOUT THE ROLE

In your new function you will be responsible for Sales and Marketing of wood-based materials in assigned markets (UAE & GCC), based in UAE (IFZA Business Park, Silicon Oasis, Dubai).You providecustomer support in the field, ensure new customer acquisition and the introduction of new products, including the presentation of new decors within the focus areadistribution, contractors, shopfitters, carpenters.

Your tasks in detail:

  • Being responsible for business communication with customers, such as offer creations, taking orders, payment collection and order delivery in collaboration with customer service department in Germany
  • Managing and developing long-lasting business relationships with new and existing customers
  • Organizing and attending regular personal meetings with new and existing customers
  • Achieve agreed annual sales targets under the guidance and leadership of the Regional Managing Director
  • Participating in Sales events, meetings and trade shows – domestically and internationally
  • Travelling to countries in assigned markets to gain new business and report business/market/competition situation to management
  • Proactively presenting and consulting the Pfleiderer portfolio to customers and gain sales for decorative wood based materials
  • Expand and maintain client database within the particular territory
  • Provide ongoing technical support to customers, actively promoting Pfleiderer solutions
  • Maintain up to date records of all projects and their status in CRM
  • Administrative duties, including submitting weekly and monthly reports, call reports and journey plans by deadlines and logging all visits in CRM
  • Proactively maintain an up to date knowledge of Pfleiderer products, market trends and competitors
