Job Summary:The Receiving Agent – Pre-Opening is responsible for coordinating and managing incoming and outgoing merchandise at Rotana’s new pre-opening property. This includes inspect, and storing goods, as well as ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling of all materials.Job Responsibilities:- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries to ensure they meet the required quality and specifications- Organize and manage storage areas for efficient stock availability and retrieval- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods- Create and maintain detailed records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory and tracking system- Coordinate with other departments, such as Purchasing and Finance, to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to deliveries or invoices- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and proper handling and storage of all materials- Assist in conducting regular stock counts to minimize the risk of stock shortages or overagesCandidate Requirements:- High school diploma equivalent certification in a relevant field is a plus- Prior experience as a Receiving Agent or in a similar role within the hospitality industry- Strong attention to detail organizational skills- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, vendors, and other departments- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures- Ability to lift and carry heavy items and work in physically demanding conditions- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and protocols- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, if required.Job Details
