Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of importation.
• Strong planning and analytical skills.
• Leadership and managerial skills.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using accounting software.
• Proficiency in using MS Office programs.
• Excellent report preparation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Build and develop the purchasing department, set purchasing plans, policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Develop purchasing strategies.
• Issue purchase orders.
• Review departmental purchase requests and approve them.
• Seek the best purchasing opportunities with suitable prices and quality.
• Monitor inventory and branch requirements.
• Research and build relationships with new suppliers.
• Price and code items.
• Analyze and study items.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets.
• Collaborate with warehouse management regarding inventory shortages, storage capacity, and inventory turnover.Monitor periodic changes in raw material prices.
• Monitor periodic changes in raw material prices.
• Provide an annual purchasing plan.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports for the purchasing department.
