Job Summary:The Food & Beverage (F&B) Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests at the Onyx Arjaan and Residences by Rotana in Bahrain. They will be working in the F&B outlets, such as restaurants, cafes, and bars, ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience.Job Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.- Present menus to guests and make suggestions based on their preferences.- Take orders promptly and accurately, ensuring special dietary requirements and allergies are conveyed to the kitchen.- Serve food and beverages to guests; ensure that each order is delivered accurately and timely.- Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.- Handle and resolve guest complaints or special requests professionally and efficiently.- Ensure that tables are set properly maintained throughout service.- Clean and reset tables promptly after guest departure, ensuring a clean and tidy dining area.- Assist in the setup and close-down of the F&B outlets.- Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.- Upsell additional food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.Candidate Requirements:- Proven experience as a Waitress or in a similar role in the F&B industry.- Excellent interpersonal and communication to effectively with guests and colleagues.- Strong customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction.- Ability to multitask and work pressure fast-paced. Knowledge of food and beverage standards, menu items, and preparation methods.- Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.- Ability to work independently as a team with a positive flexible attitude.- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements of the position.
