Job Summary

– This position is responsible for developing premix, feed and feed additive formulations (Poultry, and Ruminants for all customers of Animal

Nutrition)

– Incumbent is required to provide Technical/Nutritional support to the Sales team and customers, interact technically with academia,

government agencies as per business needs

– Introduction of new concepts and new product development will be a key feature of this role

Roles & Responsibilities

– To drive formulation of optimized premixes, feed and feed additives based on the Strategic Intent and customer’s requirements / breed

specifications (Poultry, Cattle/Camel/Sheep/Goat).

– Work with the team in optimizing standard formula for feeds, premixes and feed additives

– To provide support to the R&D and Sales team as a Subject Matter Expert.

– To guide and assist customers and farmers in their day-to-day technical queries.

– To work with team on identification of nutritional concepts and technologies outside IFFCO for implementation in the company.

– To communicate with sales team to identify growth opportunities in various markets.

– To ensure technical cooperation with IFFCO Poultry Division (broiler and layers farms) to monitor any kind of trials.

– To partner with production team for the confirmation of batching and dosing check.

– To continuously benchmark competing products for functionality and cost.

– Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Nutritional trends and keeping up to date with regulatory changes locally & internationally.

– To lead competitor’s product testing and continuously benchmark our product performance against key market players in coordination with

Quality Control function.

– To apply all measures and means to monitor products and follow up all laboratory tests to ensure production of high quality premixes and

feeds.

– To prepare Finished Good certificate of analysis as per the required specifications given by the customers.

– To provide technical support for Purchase of vitamins and additives for the premixes and feeds.

– People management to ensure the team is performing at their best thereby supporting business in achieving its objectives.

– Understand, reflect & practice IFFCO’s vision & values.
