- Welcome guests upon arrival to their Suites / Rooms
- Conduct a general orientation of the Suites / Rooms for the guests
- Act as a point of contact for the guest during their stay, assisting with any arrangements or requests of the guest
- Liaises with the Front Office Guest Service Team, and any other relevant department or section to fulfil all requests or recommendations that the guest has. e.g. in room dining, restaurants, laundry, Spa bookings, special occasions, outside hotel requirements
- Liaises with other departments that require access to the Room for operational purposes in order for them to discreetly access whilst the guest is out, or in coordination with the guest. e.g. pool cleaning, room cleaning, turndown service, maintenance etc.
- Conduct physical checks of the Suites / Rooms and report any maintenance or cleaning requirements to the respective departments
- Maintain general tidiness of the Suites / Rooms e.g. refilling minibar, hanging / folding clothes, removing and replacing used towels / crockery and removing trash
- Assure presence during the departure of guests to bid a fond farewell
- Communicate guest preferences to the Guest Service Team and any other relevant department
- Identify and anticipate guest needs and ensure personalized service is provided
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the Suites / Rooms in-room facilities, services and technology
- Demonstrate vigilance in terms of guest security by ensuring that all doors and windows are locked when the guest is outside of the Suite / Room
- Demonstrate discretion and courtesy when entering the private space of guests
- Keep guests informed of hotel facilities, services, promotions and activities in an informative and helpful manner
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the respective Manager
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
- Comply with the hotel environmental health and safety policies and procedures
- Update guest feedback using QMS / Glitch / PMS, providing a detailed handover before signing off from a shift
