About the Role

The Charter Sales Executive will be responsible for maximizing DC Aviation’s revenue through the provision of aircraft capacity to a broad spectrum of VIP clients. 

 

Primary Duties

  • Responding to inbound telephone calls and assessing client requirements 
  • Managing all aspects of charter flights from initial sale to scheduling to post flight follow up
  • Generating revenue for the company 
  • Building up and managing own key accounts 
  • Working as part of a team to reach individual and team targets, supporting colleagues
  • Liaising with other departments e.g. Operations, Accounting, Aircraft Management, Crewing 
  • Generating new business and leads
  • Assisting in the management of key charter aircraft 
  • Greeting clients where possible when flying through Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport 
  • Providing out of hours telephone cover from home during evening and weekends-working on a rotational basis as part of the team. 
  • To provide excellent customer service 
  • To communicate well and display good interpersonal skills
  • To make decisions, take initiative and work methodically 
  • To be results orientated 
  • To work well in a team; consult and share information with colleagues 
  • To display analytical skills and strong commercial awareness 
  • To work with all levels of Management and Supervision internally and Externally 
  • To promote DC Aviation’s reputation and brand
     

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

  •  2 years aviation experience in a commercial sales environment 
  • previous work experience in business development
  • must be educated to degree level
  • good level of spoken and written English and Arabic 
  • experience in aircraft brokering is highly desirable

 

Job-Specific Skills

  • knowledge of airports and aircraft performance is a plus 
  • good knowledge of business aircraft
  • good geographical knowledge
  • VIP commercial jet knowledge 
  • Additional language skills is desirable
