Key Accountabilities
- This role will focus predominantly on audit of key / major business units of the Bank (i.e. Wholesale, Financial institutions, Treasury, Wealth Management, Enterprise and Retail Banking units)
- Perform regular risk assessments of the various businesses and risk units
- Derive a risk-based review plan for each reviewable unit and update the plan on an ongoing basis in consideration of the changes in the risk profile of the business units.
Other Accountabilities
- Prepare planning memoranda, which will include the scope and objectives of the review, for individual credit reviews based on the approved plan.
- Carry out credit reviews of the Corporate and Retail units within the plan and participate in internal audits when required. This requires knowledge and analysis of the Bank’s products, businesses, policies, procedures and the regulatory environment in which the reviewable units operate.
- Work closely with other team members in performing credit reviews, discussing potential issues with the team leader.
