Senior Analyst, Business and Regulatory Reporting – Commercial Bank of Qatar

Summary

Part of the regulatory reporting team at the Bank. Creation, delivery and quality control of regulatory reports for the Bank to all relevant authorities.

Ensure the Bank is meeting the requirements / expectations of the relevant regulators across:

• Data quality and accuracy targets / thresholds
• Comprehensiveness of reporting, completeness of data and consistency across various reporting channels
• Sanity checks of relevance of data fields, definitions and connections 
• Timelines and deadlines for delivery

Key interface with stakeholders around the bank on report developments.

Interactions when required with stakeholders at the regulators’ end on regulatory reporting submission, developments, enhancements, testing etc.

Key Accountabilities

Accountability includes but not limited to:

• Maintain QCB and Credit Bureau Data Quality Scores for Monthly/Daily Submission
• Cleaning of all non-updated facilities on a daily basis
• Ensure full reconciliation between QCB Balance sheet and Credit bureau report
• Above 99% automated accuracy for Credit Bureau Facility extract. Minimum 99.9% accuracy on manually adjusted monthly submission
• 100% clearing of Credit Bureau Dishonour Cheque within TAT
• 100% accuracy on Risk Process reports through Cognos
• Obtain UAT sign-off for moving into production
• High level of automation with efficient uploading
• Creating reports through Scripts by using SQL
• Submitting Critical Monthly/Quarterly reports to all relevant authorities
• Handling regulatory related disputes.
• Re-engineering many other business reports to cater their need.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions.
• Address and resolve logic and configuration issues in Monitoring scenarios by conducting tuning & optimization exercise and review and address open AML TM & Sanctions findings from Model Validation.
