At Philips Personal Health, the Consumer Marketing Manager (CMM) is responsible to develop and execute the Go-To-Market approach for assigned portfolio / categories in alignment with the Markets’ Business and overall Marketing strategy and works with the Clusters and Businesses to ensure perfect and flawless New Product Introductions and Launches. S/he supports the Business Marketing & Sales Leader (BM&S) in the interactions with the Business, especially around the Marketing enablers and metrics.
Your role:
Defines and implements the category marketing strategy and activity plans including strategic planning, P&Ls, NPIs and roadmaps. Orchestrates the Marketing Plan & Strategy process and secures all
targets in conjunction with BM&S Leader and Sales Leader.
Leads a 12/24-month rolling integrated consumer marketing plan, based on Consumer, Market and competitor insights (which includes the champion propositions) as input to the country business plans.
Plans optimal allocation of local A&P spending as input for Annual Operational Plan (AOP) cycles, Business & Marketing Strategy planning.
Drives demand generation and ensures that business performance is being delivered according to KPIs such as yearly sales, order intake, market shares, Integral Gross Margin (IGM) through price realization in markets, A&P, Integral Sales Margin (ISM) and marketing ROI.
Applies analytical processes for performance tracking (sales, GfK market data), portfolio management (portfolio database, planning)
Together with Regional Category Leader determines product and service portfolio for the Markets, setting up and executing roadmaps for the introduction of new products or updates and the phasing-out of existing products in such a way that an optimal product and service portfolio is available on the market in time and with low costs of stock.
Champions the voice of the customer and manages a holistic customer experience in the Market across the product and services portfolio. Analyses local insights about consumers, markets, competition and trends and input to the Business Groups.
Contributes actively to the development of new business models and new channels in collaboration with the Sales Leader
Champions channelization approach and constantly seeks for opportunities to ensure engaged customer portfolio, maximize potential of propositions, reaching higher visibility and opportunities instore and online, manages exclusive portfolio planning. Constantly engages with sales and trade teams on importance of channelization strategy and drives meetings to reach consensus.
Being part of Marketing Team in UAE, collaborates with Demand Planning, Digital Marketing, Sales, Operations from making sure that the product is ready to sell to building champion focused strategies.

You’re the right fit if:
Marketing fundamentals and business acumen – 5-10 years of experience preferably in FMCG marketing roles
Consumer focused mindset – skilled at campaign development and management
Strong analytical approach – to name it strong in Excel, database management and strategic analysis
Strong ownership and drive to deliver category expectations
Digital Marketing knowledge and understanding – drive for always learning new ways to drive success of campaigns
Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, cross business, and cross function
Bringing people together and aligning them around common goals
Strong problem-solving skills. Able to find solutions to difficult or complex issues. Drives continuous improvement.
Arabic speakers are preferred.
English as business professional level.
