• As a humble family business that started 70 years ago, popularly known as AMW now a fully-owned subsidiary of Al Futtaim Group (AFG) of United Arab Emirates, is one of the pioneers in the Automotive industry in Sri Lanka.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Effectively conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance based on symptoms for all passenger car models and providing complete customer satisfaction with due regard to relevant quality standards.
• Diagnose the vehicle to determine the cause of malfunctioning, with the use of latest technological applications and monitoring software whilst remain updated with latest regulations, within the industry.
• Assess the cause of failure to determine the parts requirement and submit appropriate reports on repairing the unit and the use of spare part.
• Plan and carries out the necessary repairs using standard tools and instruments with allotted time frames.
• Make cost effective use of materials and maintain the highest productivity levels that are aligned with operational KPI’s.
• Communicate with clients to ensure the safe isolation of the vehicle for the duration of the repair and follow all site-specific safe working practices for site repairs.
• Work within all health and safety legislation, ensure all safe work practices are followed.
