<p><b>Overview of the role: </b></p>

<p>The Head of Marketing Communications &amp; Planning is responsible for leading &amp; steering all Al-Futtaim Automotive brands’ marketing strategy, planning &amp; campaign development.<br>
Through functional management of key Brands’ Marketing Communications manager, He/She will secure that all brands are complying with the central marketing team’s guidelines &amp; templates relating to activities’ planning &amp; budget management.<br>
He/She will also have direct management of 3 marketing managers where the responsibility will be to define &amp; execute marketing strategy &amp; plan for their respective brands/divisions<br>
 </p>

<p><b>What you will do:</b></p>

<p>Marketing Communications governance:</p>

<ul>
<li>Define, implement and upkeep centralized strategic &amp; planning guidelines, campaign development process and budget tracking tools</li>
<li>Define, set and lead the required review &amp; decision meetings with relevant stakeholders in the central &amp; brands teams as well as external agencies</li>
<li>Budget management<br>

</ul>

<p>Annual Marketing Strategy &amp; Plan development:</p>

<ul>
<li>Support brands &amp; external agencies to develop their strategy &amp; plan</li>
<li>Guide, challenge &amp; validate input from pre-briefing until final delivery<br>
 </li>
</ul>

<p>Media Agency management:</p>

<ul>
<li>Overall media strategy/planning (annual/quarterly)</li>
<li>Centralization of key offline spends (Outdoor/Radio)<br>
 </li>
</ul>

<p>Campaign development process management:</p>

<ul>
<li>Quarterly tactical / ad-hoc</li>
<li>Brand campaign / model launch campaign </li>
<li>Responsible to secure compliance to the central process &amp; retro-planning for all campaigns<br>
 </li>
</ul>

<p>Marketing Managers as direct reports:</p>

<ul>
<li>Day-to-day management, support &amp; coaching</li>
<li>Secure delivery on key marketing &amp; business targets<br>
 </li>
<li>Establish B2B marketing capabilities to support all brands on their requirements (industrial equipment division, fleet, aftersales, …)</li>
</ul>

<li>Business qualification with a strong understanding of operational &amp; commercial marketing</li>
<li>Minimum Experience: 8-10 years relevant marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry.</li>
</ul>

<p>Job-Specific Skills: </p>

<ul>
<li>Excellent verbal and written English communication skills essential. </li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with effective follow-through capability is important. </li>
<li>Needs to be fully proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)</li>
