Job Summary:As an Engineering – A/C Technician at Rotana, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all air conditioning systems in our facilities. You will perform routine inspections, repairs, and installations to maintain optimal functioning of the A/C units adher guidelines.Job Responsibilities:- Carry out regular inspections and maintenance checks on all air conditioning systems in the facility.- Diagnose and troubleshoot A/C units’ issues and resolve them promptly.- Repair and replace faulty electrical and mechanical components, including compressors, motors, and thermostats.- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, coils, and drain lines.- Install new A/C units and properly connect electrical wiring and controls.- Document all repair and maintenance activities accurately and maintain proper records.- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling A/C units and working in different sections of the facility.- Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure timely response and resolution of A/C related issues.- Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in A/C technology and equipment.Candidate Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Certification or diploma in HVAC or a related field is preferred.- Proven experience as an A/C Technician, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment.- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and refrigeration principles.- Ability to read and technical instructions and manuals.- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.- Attention to detail ability well as in a team.- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.Job Details
