Job Summary:We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented Front Office Bell Captain to join our team at Rotana. As a Bell Captain, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the bell and door staff to ensure exceptional guest service and a smooth operation of the front office department. Russian and German speaking command is an advantage. Job Responsibility:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bell and door staff, ensuring that they are performing their duties efficiently and providing excellent customer service.- Coordinate with the front office manager to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained schedules are well-maintained.- Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, and assist with their luggage, ensuring safe handling and storage.- Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and amenities to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations.- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, resolving any issues or escalating to the appropriate department if necessary.- Train and mentor bell and door staff on a regular basis, providing guidance and support to improve their performance customer skills.- Monitor the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby and public areas, ensuring they are well-maintained and presentable at all times.- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by enforcing hotel policies and procedures.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless, including housekeeping, maintenance, and security.Candidate Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.- Ability to work effectively a-paced environment.- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.- Knowledge of hotel operations and front office procedures.- Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy luggage.- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.Job Details
