Role and Responsibilities:
- To conduct visits to sites to collect technical data.
- To develop site visit input into systematic technical report.
- Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.
- Provision of technical and commercial duties including liaison with suppliers and requesting for quotations during the preparation and completion of price schedules.
- Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing and preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.
- To highlight potential risks areas, and proposes solutions.
- To ensure that his work is undertaken in full compliance with the project requirements and well documented.
- Conducts special studies to develop related cost data or effective cost reductions.
- Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
