Job Summary:The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the hotel during the nighttime shift. They ensure a smooth and efficient running of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and employee productivity during the evening and overnight hours.Job Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage all activities during the nighttime shift, including front desk operations, reservations, housekeeping, and security.- Greet and check-in guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for late arrivals and early departures.- Resolve any guest complaints or issues that may arise during the nighttime shift, ensuring guest satisfaction.- Coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure a seamless flow of information and operations during the nighttime hours.- Conduct regular inspection rounds to ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises.- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all guest interactions, incidents, and maintenance issues.- Train and manage the performance of the nighttime staff, ensuring they adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.- Monitor and manage night audit processes, including balancing and closing the day’s transactions.- Collaborate with the hotel management team to develop implement to improve nighttime operations and enhance guest experience.Candidate Requirements:- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality management role, preferably in a night manager or night supervisor position.- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle situations in a calm and professional manner.- Excellent communication and interpersonal, and verbal.- Knowledge of hotel operations, including reservations systems, front desk procedures, housekeeping, and security.- Familiarity with night audit processes and the ability to perform necessary financial reconciliations.- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.-iciency in using hotel management software and computer systems.- High level of integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential information.- A diploma or degree in hotel management or a related field is preferred.Job Details
