Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supervising production activities, managing staff, and maintaining quality standards. Your leadership skills, industry knowledge, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the success of our production operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of production workers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Ensure production schedules are met and that products are produced in a timely manner.
Monitor and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Train and develop staff on best practices and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to meet production goals.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment.
Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during production.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of materials and supplies.
Strive to meet production targets and optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role is required.
Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
Relevant certifications or training in production management are a plus.
