Roles and Responsibilities

The key roles and responsibilities include:

·        Train, supervise and manage the production team

·        Set and schedule the production plan in alignment with the annual and seasonal sales forecasts

·        Set the production guidelines and standards and resolve any production issues

·        Identify the types of products and specifications of each product (i.e. quality, quantity, size, packaging material)

·        Identify the production recipe/equation of each product

·        Receive orders and adjust the production plan when required based on the priority and urgency of each order

·        Monitor the efficiency of the production lines to ensure timely loading and shipments

·        Ensure adherence to ISO and HSE as well as company quality standards of each type of product

·        Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to resolve any technical issues or machinery breakdown

·        Create and update the products list, and identify ideas for potential new products based on the production observations 

·        Monitor the input and output quantities of production materials, identify variances and resolve any pertaining issues in collaboration with the Wafra Factory Manager 

·        Manage returned/wrong orders as well as waste control

·        Ensure accuracy of the entered production data on the system before it is forwarded to the Finance Department (i.e. Accounts and Costing and Inventory) on a daily basis and delegate the data entry to his/her subordinates

·        Ensure maintenance of highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in provision of the services

·        Any other relevant work assigned by the department manager
