Job Summary: The Concierge Supervisor at Onyx Arjaan and Residences by Rotana in Manama, Bahrain will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the concierge desk and ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to guests. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail the ability to lead a team.Job Responsibility:- Supervise the performance of the concierge team, ensuring high-quality customer service at all times.- Train, coach, and mentor providing guidance on best practices, handling, and hotel policies and procedures.- Coordinate and manage guest requests, and complaints, ensuring quick and efficient resolutions.- Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to assist guests with recommendations and bookings.- Oversee the operation of the hotel’s transportation services, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop for guests.- Assist with managing guest arrivals and departures, including luggage handling and room allocation processes.- Collaborate with other departments, such as the front office, to ensure seamless guest experiences.- Conduct regular inspections of the concierge area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.- Assist in maintaining the accuracy of guest interactions, requests, and complaints for future reference and analysis.- Keep up to date with trends and developments, informing management of any opportunities for improvement.Candidate Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably within a concierge department.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English Knowledge of languages a Strong customer service orientation and the ability to anticipate and address guest needs effectively.- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to task fast-paced environment.-proficiency in using hotel property management systems and other relevant software.- Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm composed challenging situations.- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and events in Manama, Bahrain is highly desirable.Job Details
