Job Summary:The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned floor and ensuring that all activities are running smoothly. They will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of floor staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing established operational standards to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.Job Responsibilities:1. Supervise and coordinate activities the floor staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.2. Manage and monitor staffing levels and make necessary adjustments to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods and special events.3. Provide training and guidance to the floor staff, including coaching and mentoring to enhance their performance and productivity.4. Ensure that all guest inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner.5. Monitor guest satisfaction levels and take appropriate measures to resolve any issues or complaints.6. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned floor, ensuring that all safety and hygiene standards are met.7. Monitor and control costs by implementing proper inventory management and wastage reduction measures.8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of operations and effective coordination.9. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.10. Assist in conducting periodic performance evaluations of the floor staff.Candidate Requirements:1. Proven experience as a Floor Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry.2. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.3. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.. Solid understanding of hotel operations and procedures.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.6. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.7. Attention to detail and the ability multit a-paced environment.8 Prof using computer applications and hotel management software.9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.10.
