To support the General Counsel in providing legal advice through research, participation in meetings, and analysis of various documents, issues, adjudication of claims, interpretation of legal and contractual provisions in order to protect company interests.
Reviews Contracts and Tenders to advise on modifications or amendments that need to be made
Co-ordinates with the Contracts Department as requested in order to counter claims arising during the execution of projects, by interpreting the provisions under the contract documents, tender documents, lease agreements, MOU’s affidavits, undertakings and other corporate and commercial documents
Addresses the assigned requests for assistance by different operating departments in order to interpret the terms of contracts, change orders, labour issues, and implementation of policies and procedures
