Overview of the role:

The employee would be responsible to execute Maintenance related small and medium projects & casual Jobs in the role of Maintenance engineer in coordination with Service Manager for the specific requirements of various Security and Low voltage system Maintenance Contracts and Projects within estimated budget and cost.

What you will do:

Responsible for:

<ul>
<li>Rack mounting new/repaired UPS and connecting respective load and testing its functionality.</li>
<li>Dismounting UPS for troubleshooting and repair activity.</li>
<li>General minor electrical works required for ELV Equipment.</li>
<li>Maintaining existing cabling infrastructure.</li>
<li>Laying new cables using provided trays and conduits</li>
<li>Crimping & testing additional network points (CAT6 & CAT6A).</li>
<li>Preventive maintenance of data centre equipment and IT infrastructure.</li>
<li>Preventive maintenance of end user workstations and peripherals.</li>
<li>Preventive maintenance of bank’s server rooms.</li>
<li>Labelling all installed cables on both end with clear description.</li>
<li>Labelling equipment installed in Data Centre & Server Rooms without exception.</li>
<li>Preparing network diagrams as and when required based on the changes.</li>
<li>Mounting and dismounting of equipment in racks based on the provided guidelines.</li>
<li>Rearranging equipment and servers in a rack in Data centre and Server Room.</li>
<li>Rearranging cables in Data centre and Server Rooms, as and when required.</li>
<li>Provisioning new cables in the Data Centre and Server Room, as and when required for a project.</li>
<li>Relocating user equipment and peripherals from one location to another.</li>
<li>Professional cable management of End user equipment.</li>
<li>Troubleshooting copper/fibre network cables functionality as and when required.</li>
<li>Installing WIFI units as when required with the necessary cabling.</li>
<li>Assistance in the installation of workstations, printer and scanners</li>
<li>Assistance in troubleshooting equipment installed on the ceiling namely WIFI units, Speakers, etc.</li>
<li>Assistance in surveying equipment for AMC Usage.</li>
</ul>

Required skills to be successful:

Job-Specific Skills:

<ul>
<li>Basic Knowledge in electronic and Low voltage Systems & Type of Cables.</li>
<li>Familiar with international codes, measurements, standards and regulations in Electronics /Low Voltage Electrical Engineering. </li>
<li>Knowledge to review Technical Specification and Drawings.</li>
<li>Knowledge of field-testing procedures and field test equipment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of MCC/SIRA/Sharjah, Ajman Police/RAK GRA Security Law and Regulations</li>
</ul>

<li>Knowledge of Site Work, HSE procedures.</li>

<li>Knowledge of field-testing procedures and field test equipment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Site Work safety procedures.</li>
</ul>

What equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

4 Year Engineering Graduation/ or Diploma in IT or Electronics & Communication or Equivalent Related Qualification with UAE Driving License

Minimum Experience:

<ul>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Relevant Middle East job experience (min 3 years)</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Must have Relevant Project & Maintenance experience (Min 3 years)</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Working experience in various Security Systems Projects & Maintenance, -Medium, large to Major projects which include CCTV, ACS, ALARM, GRMS, Wi-Fi, DATA, Netwroking & ELV systems.</li>
</ul>

Certifications Preferred:

<ul>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Knowledge of IT Systems and Equipment</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>SIRA Certification in Security systems, CCTV, Access control, Intruder alarm systems </li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>GRMS & other ELV Systems Product Certifications etc.</li>
</ul>
