Key Responsibities:
Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and measuring seasonings, to ensure efficient cooking.
Cooking Techniques: Apply various cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, roasting, baking, and sautéing to create dishes.
Menu Adherence: Follow recipes and menu specifications to maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of ingredients and dishes to ensure they meet culinary standards and food safety regulations.
Timing and Coordination: Coordinate cooking times with other kitchen staff to ensure all components of a dish are ready for plating simultaneously.
Plate Presentation: Artfully plate and garnish dishes for optimal visual appeal.
Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
