Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. As a Demi Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef De Partie in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills, contribute to menu development, and deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.Job Responsibilities:- Assist the Chef De Partie in planning and executing the daily food preparation activities according to the menu specifications and standards.- Prepare and cook a variety dish including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, with attention to detail and presentation.- Ensure that all food items are and served promptly, while adhering to the quality and quantity standards.- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all hygiene and safety procedures.- Collaborate with the Chef De Partie and the kitchen team in creating and developing new menu items, including special dietary requirements and seasonal offerings.- Assist in supervising and training junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow the established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or deficiencies to the Chef De Partie to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.- Uphold high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, consistently striving for excellence.- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any guest requests or concerns.Candidate Requirements:- Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or a similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel.- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.- Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, flavor profiles, and dish presentation.- Ability to work in a fast-paced while maintaining attention to detail and high standards.- Excellent organizational and time management skills to multiple and priorities.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team.- A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.- Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.Job Details
