On behalf of our client, who is in the Meat processing industry, we are looking for experienced candidates for the role of Head of the Warehouse department who will supervise the activities of workers in raw materials stores and finished products stores, dispensing products, and preparing monthly and semi-monthly reports on inventory movement and monitoring operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the activities of all types of workers in warehouses and also supervise the administrative tasks of workers in warehouses, including dividing work, following up on its implementation, and evaluating the performance of its workers.
  • Supervise the stores of raw materials, including production requirements, packaging materials, spare parts, and miscellaneous materials (cleaning tools, chemicals, etc.), and also supervise the bookkeeping of these stores (receipt – disbursement – balances).
  • Supervise the stores of finished meat products of all types: frozen, chilled, raw, ready meals, and more, and supervise the bookkeeping of these stores (receipt – disbursement – balances).
  • Supervise and follow up on local purchase orders with supplying companies and monitor the demand limit for all items.
  • Supervise and follow up on purchase requests for imported materials with the Foreign Purchasing Department and monitor the demand limit for all items.
  • Follow up and ensure that the data of each item is entered on the computer and shows its movement.
  • Supervise the preparation of monthly and semi-monthly warehouse reports and submit them to the Director of the Supply Department as assigned by the direct superior.
  • Perform other tasks similar to or related to the job duties in accordance with building and maintaining relationships.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the External Purchasing and Administrative Affairs Department to follow up on various purchase requests.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the financial department to send receipt notes and disburse due invoices to suppliers.
  • Maximize the use of the company’s resources, maintain business relationships, and respond to customer needs.
  • Manage customer relationships through proactive and effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality, value-added services to the company’s departments and clients.
  • Demonstrate awareness of workloads, provide assistance to work team members, and assume additional tasks when necessary.
  • Develop the internal capabilities of work team members through guidance, counseling, workshops, and knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in work team discussions to share knowledge and present ideas and solutions that benefit the work team.
  • Ensure that the necessary reports are submitted in a timely manner in accordance with management policies and procedures (weekly, monthly reports, etc.).
  • Ensure the implementation of administrative work in the required time, such as requesting invoices and following up on customer requirements, etc.
  • Supervise the warehouse department’s work team in the supply department.
  • Set a vision for individuals, direct and motivate them to focus efforts and commitment towards achieving business goals.
  • Monitor the work team’s performance and their training needs to maximize their performance to achieve management’s operational goals.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the continuous improvement of performance.
  • Use available technical resources and tools to expand resources and competencies and increase productivity.
  • Seek guidance, feedback, and practical training to improve performance and incorporate recommendations into the business.
  • Take responsibility for self-development and seize opportunities to demonstrate and develop existing and new skills.
  • Provide ideas to enhance profitability by creating valuable innovations, increasing efficiency, and developing services.
  • Expect moderate physical effort that requires walking and standing 50% of the work time.
  • Be prepared to work at temperatures as low as minus 26 degrees Celsius.
