An entertainment and play (FMCG) manufacturing company is looking to hire a Key Account Specialist.

Contract Duration: 1 year (renewable/extendable)

Team Management:

  • Collaborate with Key Account Manager to understand the requirements of the business and provide proactive support.
  • Prepare and update presentations, reports, and proposals for client meetings and presentations. Coordinate and schedule meetings, store visits, and other admin support as required.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts through intelligence, aiming to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Rigorous tracking and review of daily field force effectiveness parameters like, Outlet Coverage, PJP Adherence, Effective coverage, Brand distribution, Total Lines Sold per month etc.

Customer Management:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly to Key Account Manager.
  • Managing operations and complete management of Super Distribution network in UAE.
  • Ensuring an optimum ROI for the super distributor network with a strong check on all network health parameters like Inventory Quality, Market credit and other investments.

Commercial Execution:

  • Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration between internal departments and the Key Account Manager. Liaise with various teams, such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to key clients. Relay client requirements, feedback, and concerns to the relevant departments and follow up on action items.
  • Ensuring the application at sales points of Category and Trade Marketing policies and operative activities performed by field staff (e.g., POSM).
  • Detailed understanding of all business commercials including pricing and margin cascades. Monitor and analyze daily key account metrics, sales data, and market trends to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing insights and market intelligence on all competition activity
  • Maintain weekly regular reports, sales forecasts, and account performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide timely and accurate updates to management on account status and sales activities.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts through intelligence, aiming to increase revenue and profitability.
