We are seeking an Emirate fresh graduate to join our client’s prestigious renewable energy company as a Purchasing Assistant. Your enthusiasm and dedication will play a pivotal role in the procurement operations of one of the Middle East’s leading renewable energy firms.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Purchasing Officer by accurately inputting Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) into the QuickBooks system.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers, both current and potential, to ensure a robust network of sources.
• Seek necessary internal management approvals before transmitting LPOs to suppliers, adhering to established protocols.
• Uphold compliance with our client Governance and the group travel policy, ensuring all procurement activities align with company regulations.
• Collaborate with the Compliance department to secure approvals when required, maintaining regulatory adherence.
• Compile and present a monthly dashboard, using QuickBooks data, to provide valuable insights to management.
• Assist during the Purchasing Officer’s absences or annual leaves to ensure continuity in procurement functions.
• Calculate CO2 emission data per user, contributing to the company’s sustainability goals.
• Oversee annual ticket procurement for expatriates and collaborate with HR to update the annual ticket allowance table.
