Job Description:
Join our retail team as a Cashier and contribute to providing excellent customer service to our valued shoppers. We are seeking friendly and detail-oriented individuals to join our cashier team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments
Provide accurate information about products and promotions
Ensure the security of cash and transactions
Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues or concerns
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Collaborate with other team members to optimize customer service
Upsell and promote relevant products and services
Perform end-of-day reconciliation and reporting
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred
Strong numerical and multitasking skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
Positive and friendly attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
