General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate macroeconomic and microeconomic trends that have a direct/indirect effect on the construction industry. This will include determinants and outlook for metal, gas/electricity and building material prices.
- Prepare written market insight reports and presentations to senior management, key clients and regional cost centres.
- Developed, analyzed, and maintained market analysis dashboards and reports.
- Supporting the development of new data-driven services, solutions and products
- Providing technical expertise, training and support to non-experts
- Liaise with and gather data and information from both technical and non-technical stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.
- Manage aspects of the economics research team and commissions as needed.
- Establish friendly and professional relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support.
- There is scope in this role to develop economic and market forecasts and models.
- This role reports to the program director.
