Product Specialist for (Urology Products) only – Western & South Region
Role and Responsibilities:
Market and sell assigned products to government and private hospitals, satisfy customer needs and achieve set sales targets. Provide customer with proper training on the use of products by in-service and presentations.
1. Arrange, conduct and perform sales calls promoting assigned products to potential and existing customers, illustrating product features and presenting them as benefits matching them with customer needs.
Performance INDICATORS:
1. Number of visits to the customer per week/month.
2. Market coverage
2. Meeting with purchasing and materials departments in order to generate Request for Quotations as pear TART Medical product specification and to follow up with submitted TART documents.
Performance INDICATORS:
1. Achieve assigned target.
2. Efficacy on submission dates and clear offers.
3. Submit offers/bids within customer specified time frame and keep on following up until the receipt of the purchase order.
Performance INDICATORS:
1. Achieve assigned target.
2. Meeting RFQ deadlines .
4. Collect, on time, purchase orders from the customers, prepare PRs to place orders with the principals on time.

5. Make sure that the delivery orders are prepared on time and goods are delivered on time in order to avoid any penalties.

6. Follow up on previously awarded orders generated by predecessors of the position and/or office generated and registered orders. completing the deliveries, customer use training, and coordinating invoicing.

1. Clearing all pending deliveries and order of previous orders
2. Customer final acceptance and razing documents for customer payment
7. Assisting the tender Manager in technical preparation of the bill of quantity for all tenders that have products that are promoted by the PS, this includes brochure, catalog, CD or any form of product illustration required for meeting the tender specs .
Performance INDICATORS:
1. Submitting tenders in time
2. Giving the accurate financial grand total for accurate bid bond preparation by tender manager
3. Achieve assigned target.
4. Submit reports to the management on time.
5. Update customer profile
8. Report competitors’ activities and update the management in order to better handle the situation and take proper measures to maintain existing accounts.

9. Prepare Needs Analysis per each customer, conducting a periodical SWOT sheet for each customer and product.

1. Complete updated customer profile
2. Identification of opportunities

10. Daily use of activity reporting system
Performance INDICATORS:
1. Completing all required within the identified time frame and database building.

Operating Environment:
This position reports to the Area Manager. The job holder is responsible for the sales and promotion of assigned products. His achievement directly impacts on company performance. His role is an implementation context, based on the strategies that are passed on to him by the management.
