Sales Manager Freight Forwarding – Haitun Container Line

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager for our Freight Forwarding department in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development activities, managing key client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional customer service and support
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services
5. Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential areas for growth and improvement
7. Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team
8. Coach and mentor junior sales team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their targets

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry
2. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
3. Strong negotiation and closing skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
6. Strong leadership and team management abilities
7. Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
8. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
10. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
