Job Description:
Join our security team as a CCTV Operator and contribute to the safety and security of our supermarket. We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented individual to monitor and operate our CCTV systems effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor live and recorded video footage from CCTV cameras
Identify and report suspicious activities or security breaches
Operate and control CCTV equipment, including cameras and recording systems
Collaborate with security personnel to respond to incidents
Maintain accurate records of security-related activities
Assist in conducting investigations by providing footage when needed
Perform regular checks on CCTV equipment to ensure functionality
Report any technical issues to the security supervisor
Follow security protocols and procedures
Work closely with law enforcement agencies when required
Requirements:
Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of CCTV systems and equipment
Ability to stay focused and alert during extended monitoring periods
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Familiarity with security procedures and protocols
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
High school diploma or equivalent
