- The engineering responsibilities include developing an efficient design utilizing, whenever possible, standard Fabcon details
- The engineer is also responsible for providing a building design in accordance with the architectural and structural drawings, specifications and all applicable building codes
- Provide calculations on projects within the assigned team
- Review the contract documents and provide efficient designs for building, connections, and precast panels in accordance with contract documents
- Handle issues that may arise in the field or during the design process. Examples: Providing a field detail to repair a panel missing the embedded plates for a structural beam connection or coordinating with Sales and Project Management to address unique design aspects.
