Responsibilities:
Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses and track budget variances. Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations.
Tender Preparation: Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities, pricing schedules, and contract documentation. Collaborate with the procurement team to obtain competitive bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Contractual Compliance: Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and that the project adheres to relevant legal and industry standards.
Project Monitoring: Continuously track and report on project costs, including materials and labor, and provide cost reports to the project team. Highlight any deviations from the budget and propose corrective
actions.
Change Management: Assess and manage any changes in project scope, specifications, or requirements, evaluating their impact on project costs and timelines.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and opportunities associated with the project and implement strategies to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
Variations and Claims: Administer subcontractor claims and variations, ensuring that they are fairly assessed and resolved within the project’s contractual framework.
