Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Captain to join our team for a Pre-Opening project. As a Food & Beverage Captain, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests, ensuring excellent service and maintaining high standards at all times.Job Responsibility:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the restaurant staff during service hours, ensuring smooth operations and timely service.- Greet and welcome guests, escorting them to their tables, and assist with menu selection.- Train and develop the restaurant staff on service standards, menu items, and up-selling techniques.- Monitor and ensure proper set-up, cleanliness, and maintenance of the dining areas, including tables, chairs, and fixtures.- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery food.- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic working environment.- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement service strategies, promotions, and initiatives.- Assist in inventory management, including controlling costs and minimizing waste.Candidate Requirements:- Proven work experience a & Beverage Captain or in a similar role, preferably in a pre-opening or high-end restaurant.- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including industry trends and best practices.- Ability to handle multiple tasks prioritize in a fast-paced environment.- Exceptional customer service skills and a strong attention to detail. Famity with food handling safety, and sanitation standards.- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.- Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.Job Details
