Field Services Engineer II – Future Pipe Industries

JOB PURPOSE:
The job holder is responsible for providing technical support to customers and field service personnel in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiberglass manufacturing equipment. They work with a high degree of autonomy and are responsible for providing customer support and training as needed. This position may require frequent travel to customer sites.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Field Service Know-How/ Planning and Control of Site Work Activities/Control of Tools and Equipment / Asset Inventories

  •  Manage FPI’s field scope in all ongoing projects.
  • Provide technical clarifications to clients whenever needed through remote or face to face regular meetings.
  • Develop Field installation packages and relevant field procedures.
  • Develop and execute training and qualification programs for Client’s representatives.
  • Manage FPI’s field representatives’ allocation based on current and forecasted demand.
  • Coordinate and schedule field service operations, including installation, repair, and maintenance of fiberglass products.
  • Prepare and submit services invoices on monthly basis through system.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports for management.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls and equipment maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, field service personnel, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Attend technical meetings with Sales.
  • Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction levels and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and field service personnel.

  

HSE

  •  Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.
  • Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks.
  • Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents.
  • Report unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations.
  • Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as required.

  

SPAN OF COMMUNICATION

  •  Internal: Field Services Unit team, Projects, Stores, IT & Business systems teams
  • External: Client, Contractors, Subcontractors
