Since IRC has worked with refugees and other vulnerable populations in Jordan. IRC’s programs in Jordan focus on urban interventions in the north that address gender-based violence specifically violence against women and girls for Syrian refugees and host community members as well as primary and reproductive health care services to Syrian

refugees based in Ramtha and Mafraq Zaatari and Azraq camp.

Job Overview/Summary: HIS manager will be based in the Amman office and will be a responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and developing all the IRC HIS System, The HIS manager will report directly to the health coordinator.

Major Responsibilities: this position will be responsible the overall functioning and performance of the Health Information Systems, including databases and applications, supervise the performance of the HIS, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability and being responsible for:

1- Extend the HIS to other partners including the QFFD’s Consortium, Private Health Facilities, and public health facilities (when required), working closely on any configurable, customizable, and interoperability of other HIS owned and operated by the partners.

2- Ensure the implementation of the work-flow system within the IRC clinics, and with the Consortium clinics; and closely supervise the work-integration by direct mentorship of the Health Managers at the clinics.

3-Apply – collect, process, store and distribute – the indicators’ definition of the QFFD unified log-frame and ensure the NCDs toolkit conditioning are applied; this also entails any visualization requirements from all partners.

4- Responsible for configuration of electronic medical record transfer –to the NCDs scoring card and other client’s mobile application.

6- Review datasets for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities where possible, for improved data quality; follow-up with data collections teams for clarification on missing, incomplete, or incorrect data.

7- Support the programs’ data management staff and the programs’ partner staff in the use of the new technology systems – the decision-making process in the organization.

8- Collaborate closely with partners, providing support and enhancing their capabilities through training sessions and on-site visits. Conduct database verification and organize monthly meetings to track progress, addressing both accomplishments and challenges.

9- Ensure the sustainability and scale, including the transfer the knowledge and practice to other partners by the end of the project, this entails not just the technological part – and working closely with the health coordinator on determinants for HIS adaptation (Environmental, Human, and Organizational).

10 – Working closely with the MEAL department, to ensure that the interconnected components, and capacity of the HIS are always backed through other personnel within respective MEAL’s functional department.
