Job Description:
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our kitchen team as Kitchen Helpers. Kitchen Helpers play a vital role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Assist chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking.
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items.
Organize and restock kitchen inventory and supplies.
Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness standards.
Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow.
Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper or in a similar role is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food safety.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Food handler’s certification is a plus.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
