Mechanical Technician – BUTEC S.A.L.

Qualifications:

1. Technical degree in mechanics or a related field with hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems
2. Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and equipment used in the wastewater treatment process. This includes pumps, valves, compressors, blowers, motors, and gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as welding and fabrication techniques
3. Able to analyze situations and diagnose issues, as well as develop creative solutions to complex problems
4. Troubleshoot individual pieces of mechanical equipment, evaluate and diagnose system deterioration or failure. Perform repairs on chemical feed systems, odor control systems, screens, filters and related equipment. 
5. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance, adjustment and repair to a variety of equipment, machinery, and control systems in treatment plant. 
6. Use proper safety equipment, follow the Health & Safety instructions. 
7. Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.

• Equipment: Mechanical – Safety Equipment.

• Internal Communication: with all the branch employees
• External Communication: Subcontractors related to mechanical activities.
