Plant Manager – BUTEC S.A.L.

Level of Responsibility:

• Full Plant.

Level of Communication:

• Internal Communication: with all the employees
• External Communication: Suppliers, Subcontractors, Consultant, Client and official authorities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related field with 7 years of experience in wastewater treatment, Knowledge in mechanical and electrical, O&M, KPI.
2. Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
3. Capital improvement planning and implementation experience strongly preferred.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of municipal wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment, and sludge production and distribution systems.
5. Ability to understand logic associated with programmable logic controllers.
6. Ability to comprehend and carry out written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions required.
7. Ability to understand relevant physical, chemical, electrical, and microbiological principles required.
8. Demonstrated knowledge of and technical skill to perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical pumps, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and instrumentation.
9. Planning and organizational skills including the ability to plan and execute a schedule for short and long term projects.
10. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as evidenced by ongoing trainings and professional development.
11. Regular attendance is necessary and is essential to meeting the expectations of the job functions.
12. Experience in leading and managing process improvement projects, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
13. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
14. Proficiency in preparing technical reports, proposals, and presentations for management or regulatory agencies.
