Process Engineer – BUTEC S.A.L.

Qualifications:

1. 5 years working in a WW treatment plant required. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree requirement on a two-for-one per year basis.
2. Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software used in wastewater treatment plant design and operation.
3. Knowledge of equipment and instrumentation commonly used in wastewater treatment systems.
4. Experience in conducting process audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
5. Ability to develop and implement optimization strategies and operational changes to enhance overall treatment plant performance.
6. Knowledge of statistical process control techniques to monitor and control process parameters effectively.
7. Familiarity with water reuse practices and technologies to maximize resource recovery.
8. Proficiency in using project management software to track progress and communicate project updates.
9. Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations governing wastewater treatment processes and discharge standards.
10. Ability to develop and implement compliance strategies and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
11. Knowledge of environmental impact assessment methodologies for wastewater treatment plant expansions or modifications.
