Repairs Technician – Non-Certified | Al Futtaim Automotive | Omasco – Honda

Overview of the role:

• To carry out dealership service on customer vehicles as per company standards and ensure optimum quality with increased productivity and technical efficiency, thereby individually contributing to generate workshop revenue. 

What you will do:    

• Prompt execution of service repairs requested on the repair order as per schedule provided.
• Report on additional job required in car with cost estimate.
• Maintain Check Sheets and Log sheets.
• Upkeep tools and equipment in the individual bay as per company standards
• Proper handling of special tools.
• Proper housekeeping of the work bay
• Ensure zero repeat repairs.
• Proper diagnosis and trouble shooting.
• Request for assistance through Supervisor if required.
• Conduct final inspection as per the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Deliver the desired efficiency and productivity as per targets given.
• Ensure prompt punch in and punch out to get the accurate booking hours. 
• Complete the eLearning course and other on-the-job training as per the schedule provided by the Training Manager.
• Enroll and get certification as per the HQSP program.
• Prepare for annual skills contests.
• Ensure follow-up of standard operating procedures in technician role.
• Ensure fire extinguishers are kept closed for immediate action in case of working with fuel systems.
• Care for fellow colleagues.
• Proper usage of safety measures provided in the workshop.
• Aware of the hazards and the risks associated with their work activities.
• Use and maintain appropriate PPEs supplied to them.
• Participate in Toolbox Talk meetings.
• Take reasonable care for own health and safety and take care that his or her acts do not adversely affect the health and safety of others.
• Report all incidents to the supervisor.
• Comply with company QHSE rules and guidelines.
• Undertake safety awareness training as provided by the company.
• Follow emergency and evacuation procedures of the company.
• Aware of the hazards and the risks associated with their work activities.
• Use and maintain appropriate PPEs supplied to them.
• Take reasonable care for own health and safety and take care that his or her acts do not adversely affect the health and safety of others.
• Ensure quality of job to avoid errors/rework and take actions to resolve customer concerns to improve customer engagement.
• Comply with company QHSE rules and guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures and report all incidents to the supervisor.
• Participate in Toolbox Talk meetings and undertake safety awareness training as provided by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
