<p><b>Overview of the role:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>To carry out the repair or replacement of all monocoque and steel chassis vehicle including structural, load and impact bearing components, carry out repairs to meet the manufacturers original specifications using an alignment jig and measuring systems ensuring repaired areas meet the manufacturers anti-corrosion standard through proper use of suitable materials.</li>

<p><b>What you will do: </b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Replacement of new body parts, major repairs of body structure and rectification of major dents.</li>
<li>Carry out the replacement of new body parts, major repairs of body structure, rectification of major dents, etc., as per the list of jobs attached herewith.</li>
<li>The jobs should be accomplished with usage of spoons, dollies, hammers, snips, body jack, vice grips, disc sander, gas welding, spot welding equipment, air operated hacksaw, belt sander, sealant gun, spot weld cutter, air chisel and alignment jig equipment. </li>
<li>Carry out jobs to the manufacturer’s recommended levels of workmanship and standards and thereby ensure that the strength and durability of the car body is maintained to the original specification.</li>
<li>Implement all relevant precautions and safe practices while carrying out the various body repair jobs/hazardous materials. Use standard safety equipment while carrying out, welding, cutting, sanding, or grinding etc. Standard safety equipment includes respirator and filter mask, safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes and ear plugs. Ensure that all tools and maintained in proper working order and stored in toolbox provided. Keep the equipment of the section clean and properly maintained. Keep the work area clean and orderly. </li>
<li>To be customer focused in all areas of his work. To accomplish repairs to very high standards, to ensure that a customer’s car is not scratched, stained, or damaged i.e., it is not a disservice in any way.</li>
<li>Ensure proper handling, storage, and delivery of replaced old/damaged parts (chargeable and/ or under warranty) the parts, returnable to insurance company must be stored safely.</li>
<li>Compete the allotted job within the standard operation/time stipulated by workshop controller, to achieve efficiency between 110% – 125%.</li>
<li>Further learn and develop his knowledge about construction of monocoque bodies and usage of alignment jig for measuring body dimensions and straightening damaged body structure.</li>
<li>On further improve his knowledge about locations of usage of sealant and adhesive between different parts of monocoque body shell.</li>
<li>To increase his knowledge and sharpen his skill to effectively troubleshoot, water leak, air leak and wind noise problems.</li>
<li>To further develop his knowledge, about identifying the correct requisite parts for a repair job. This will ensure ordering of correct parts at first time.</li>
<li>Aware of the hazards and the risks associated with their work activities.</li>
<li>Use and maintain appropriate PPEs supplied.</li>
<li>Take reasonable care for own health and safety and take care that his or her acts do not adversely affect the health and safety of others.</li>
<li>Ensure quality of job to avoid errors/rework and take actions to resolve customer concerns to improve customer engagement.</li>
<li>Comply with company QHSE rules and guidelines and SOPs and report all incidents to the supervisor</li>
<li>Participate in Toolbox Talk meetings and undertake safety awareness training as provided by the company.</li>
<li>Follow emergency and evacuation procedures of the company.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

<p><b>What equips you for the role:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High School, ITI Course in Automobile Engineering, with specialization in car body construction and repairs.</li>
<li>5-7 years of working as Denter out of this, two years should be of working on monocoque bodies.</li>
<li>Valid (GCC) Driving License </li>
