Overview of the Role

Responsible for developing, tracking and guiding the most appropriate method and sequence of MEP activities in conjunction with the Contract Requirements and Main Contract Programme in order to ensure the project is completed timely and on budget.

What you will do?

Contract Baseline Programme.

Monitoring Progress – Procurement

<ul style=”margin-bottom:1.0px;margin-top:1.0px”>
<li>Preparing Procurement Register in-line with Baseline Programme Requirements</li>
<li>Monitoring progress of procurement & highlighting variance (if any) to the project team</li>
<li>Providing look-ahead to the project team</li>
<li>Ensure selected vendors are in compliance with the project delivery requirements</li>
<li>Identify Specialist Subcontractor requirements, monitor and ensure selection in a timely manner</li>
</ul>

Monitoring & Reporting Progress

<ul style=”margin-bottom:1.0px;margin-top:1.0px”>
<li>Monitoring Work Progress & highlighting variance (if any) to the project team</li>
<li>Updating the Baseline Schedule</li>
<li>Prepare progress reports in accordance with the project requirements</li>
<li>Providing look-ahead to the project team</li>
<li>Organise Weekly Meetings with the Project Team & Specialist Subcontractors</li>
<li>Attend progress meetings with the Client/ Main Contractor</li>
</ul>

Testing & Commissioning Schedule

Delay Notifications, Delay Analysis & EOT Submissions

<li>Identifying variations that impact the programme</li>
<li>Identifying delay events (if any) that impact the programme</li>
<li>Notifying the delays in accordance with the Contract Conditions</li>
<li>Preparing delay analysis impact programmes for the delay events</li>
<li>Preparation of EOT submissions</li>
</ul>

8-10 years of experience in Planning of MEP Projects.
