Responsibilities for business development assistant

  • Monitor related business affairs inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain up to date business contacts
  • Organize departmental off-sites, conferences and events
  • Make travel arrangements, process expense reports
  • Track all incoming and outgoing agreements, and file accordingly
  • Develop and maintain filing systems and weekly deal tracking
  • Draft cover letters and other correspondence
  • Maintain invoices from third party firms/vendors
  • A proven ability to multi-task different projects and prioritise against tight deadlines

Qualifications for business development assistant

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook and MS OFFICE
  • Exercise impeccable judgment
  • Must be discrete and maintain absolute confidentiality as this position regularly handles sensitive information
  • Ability to work with multiple individuals in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure
  • Fluent in English Written and Oral. Arabic language is a plus
