Freezone Operations Director

We are currently hiring for the position of Freezone Operations Director in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a freezone or industrial park setting. The Freezone Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the freezone, ensuring smooth functioning of all processes and procedures, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
2. Manage and optimize all operational processes and procedures within the freezone.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
4. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
5. Lead and motivate a team of operations professionals to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
6. Identify and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, suppliers, and government authorities.
8. Stay updated with industry trends and developments to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor’s or Masters degreein Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a freezone or industrial park setting.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing operational processes.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficient in using operational management software and tools.
9. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
10. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
