We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs and initiatives to enhance the knowledge and skills of our employees. The successful candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training delivery methods. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop learning objectives.
- Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including instructor-led presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and reference guides.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and webinars, ensuring effective delivery and participant engagement.
- Coordinate and schedule training programs, including logistics, materials preparation, and participant communication.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, making recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches into training initiatives.
- Manage the learning management system (LMS) and maintain accurate training records for employees.
- Collaborate with external training vendors and consultants to deliver specialized programs as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of career development programs and succession planning initiatives.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support their professional growth and development.
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to evaluate training program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other training software/tools.
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP) is preferred.
