Job Summary

To monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of the organization, which comprises installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person.

Job Responsibilities 1

• Provide input into the preparation and consolidation of the department’s budget, monitor financial performance during the year and identify areas of unsatisfactory performance (if any), and recommend mitigating actions.
• Service, Trouble shoot and maintain system Hardware.
• Manage the Mails and the Mail Server.
• Ascertain preventive maintenance of the printers and systems.
• Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages; may modify specific applications for use in operational departments.
• Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware.

Job Responsibilities 2

• Pull cables and rewire or direct the rewiring of cables as required for new installations and office reconfiguration.
• Provide input into the development and implementation of the department’s policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to support an efficient and effective operation.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the department’s short to mid-term plans to ensure alignment with the division’s strategic priorities and contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial objectives.
• Monitor, control and report key performance indicators related to the department, to track performance and recommend corrective actions.
