<p><b>Overview of the role</b><br>
This position is responsible for driving the group tax strategy within CMC Group. It includes managing the Effective Tax Management Model which involves working with tax community members and taking ownership of tax compliance, tax planning, transfer pricing, tax accounting, and tax documentation for the Company. </p>

<p><b>What you will do</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the implementation of the Group Tax strategy in CMC from a planning, compliance, and risk management perspective, in order to ensure harmonization of the tax processes at CMC with the Group Tax guidelines</li>
<li>Build relationships and interact with stakeholders to provide excellent tax advisory expertise on business transactions and acquisitions, in order to ensure smooth functioning of the tax record to report processes including helping to facilitate closure of tax audits</li>
<li>Ensure correct and timely filing of all Tax Returns based on country specific tax calendars and review complex income Tax Returns, in order to meet regulatory deadlines and avoid penalties</li>
<li>Identify tax planning opportunities within the limits of tax risk management, in order to generate cash for the CMC Group</li>
<li>Identify and mitigate tax risks in CMC Group, in order to ensure that the tax positions which are taken are in compliance with the tax regulations and also to avoid penalties for potential exposures</li>
<li>Manage the tax provision process and supervise tax balances on general ledge</li>
<li>Ensure all documents are collected on a central database and handle requests for information, in order to substantiate tax filings and tax positions and to support during tax audits</li>
<li>Manage tax audits in collaboration with Group Tax, in order to reach an amicable closure to the Audits</li>

<p><b>Required skills to be successful</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Tax, Finance or Accounting certified</li>
<li>Regional tax knowledge is mandatory</li>
<li>4-6 years in an international tax environment</li>
<li>Big 4 Accounting Firm experience required</li>
</ul>
