AC Technician – ZBOM managed by Deal GTC

An AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings. They must have a thorough understanding of HVAC systems and be able to diagnose and fix any issues that arise. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair split and central air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings
2. Perform regular inspections of AC units to identify and resolve any issues
3. Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
4. Repair or replace defective parts and components
5. Perform tests to ensure the proper functioning of AC systems
6. Clean and maintain AC units to ensure optimal performance and longevity
7. Respond to customer service calls in a timely and professional manner
8. Provide customers with explanations and recommendations regarding the AC system
9. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations
10. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an AC Technician or similar role
2. Technical degree or certification in HVAC or a related field
3. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Good communication and customer service skills
8. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
9. Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
10. Valid driver’s license
